His goal in writing is to make dentistry approachable, answer common patient questions, and provide resources that help you feel confident about your oral health.

A Montana Native with a Passion for Dentistry

Dr. McAllister was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, where he was active in music and wrestling before attending Montana State University. There, he graduated with honors and received the distinguished Award of Excellence.

He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he served proudly as a Captain in the U.S. Army, where he gained advanced surgical training and was one of only two residents selected for an Exodontia surgical residency. His service included a combat tour, graduation from Army Air Assault School, and participation in the Expert Field Medical Competition.

Advanced Training in Implants & Surgery

After his Army service, Dr. McAllister pursued further expertise in dental implants through the renowned Misch International Implant Institute. Today, he combines this advanced training with a deep commitment to patient care—helping people restore their smiles through implant dentistry, cosmetic treatments, and comprehensive family dental care.

Dr. McAllister’s writing reflects the same values he brings to every appointment: education, transparency, and compassion. He enjoys sharing knowledge on topics ranging from preventive dentistry to new technology, so patients always feel informed about their choices.
