Dr. Sarah Fontana
Dr. Sarah Fontana’s journey into dentistry began in her home state of Minnesota, where she discovered a deep passion for science, service, and helping others. While earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, she participated in multiple medical mission trips, traveling both nationally and internationally.
Reflecting on those experiences, Dr. Fontana shares, "On my medical mission trips, both here in the U.S. and overseas, I saw how something as simple as fixing a smile could completely change a person’s life. Those moments made me fall in love with dentistry and know it’s exactly what I was meant to do."
She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with honors in restorative dentistry. After completing her degree, Dr. Fontana practiced in several private offices in Missouri while her husband, Dr. Dan McAllister, served in the U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood.
Dedicated to continual growth in her profession, Dr. Fontana has completed extensive continuing education in aesthetic dentistry and prosthodontic treatments, including advanced techniques in crowns, veneers, and smile restorations. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages across Kalispell, Whitefish, and Bigfork, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where even the most nervous patients can feel at ease.
Outside the office, Dr. Fontana is an avid lover of the outdoors. Whether she’s hiking Montana’s scenic trails, running with her two beloved Boxers, or enjoying a peaceful day in nature, she appreciates the beauty and active lifestyle that Montana offers.
