Preparing for Your Appointment

To make your first visit as seamless as possible, please bring the following to our Kalispell office:

  • Your Dental Insurance Card(s) – So we can assist with verifying your coverage.

  • Completed New Patient Forms – Filling these out in advance will save time and streamline your check-in process.

  • A List of Current Medications – This helps ensure your care is safe and coordinated.

  • Relevant Dental History – Past treatment records, X-rays, or concerns you’d like us to address.

  • Any Questions or Concerns – We’re here to answer all your questions about oral health, treatment options, and payment plans.

Understanding the Cost of Your First Visit

The cost of your first appointment depends on your individual needs and the type of care provided. During your consultation and exam, one of our dentists will evaluate your oral health and discuss any recommended treatments. You’ll then receive a detailed treatment plan with cost estimates for each procedure.

We believe in complete transparency when it comes to dental costs. Dental insurance coverage varies by plan, and your provider may set limits on the fees they’ll cover for certain services. If your insurance is in-network with Montana Dental Works, your out-of-pocket costs may be lower due to agreed-upon discounted rates. If you’re out-of-network, coverage may differ.

Our experienced team will walk you through your benefits, explaining co-pays, deductibles, and any remaining costs after insurance. For uninsured patients—or for treatments not fully covered—we offer flexible payment options and financing through trusted partners like CareCredit®. This ensures you can move forward with care at a pace and cost that’s comfortable for you.
